2009+ Nissan GT-R Clubsport 3-Way Coilovers | KW
Track performance proven technology with multiple 24-hour race wins.
Using the Nordschleife as the testing grounds and data collected from our KW 7-post Driving Dynamic Test Center, KW developed it's 3-way Clubsport coilover kit. Wheel loads, vehicle weight and chassis reinforcements (increased body stiffness) can all be taken into consideration with the TVR-A & TVCLH-A valve technology and adjustment capabilities of the 3-way Clubsport. Similar to KW Competition 3-way coilovers, low-speed and high-speed compression adjustment is achieved by utilizing with the controls on the external reservoir.
KW Clubsport 3-Way
Similar to the KW Competition suspension used in international motorsports, the KW 3-Way Clubsport coilover kit allows fine tuning of the compression damping separately in the low-speed and high-speed range. The click adjustments of the TVCLH-A valve technology make for easy adjustment directly on the reservoir. You can modify the low-speed compression damping with 6 precise clicks with the purple low speed adjustment dial and directly beneath it the golden adjustment wheel provides an additional 14 precise clicks of high speed compression adjustment. In addition, the TVR-A technology provides 16 clicks to noticeably adjust the rebound damping independently of the compression damping. If you would like to adjust the KW 3-Way Clubsport coilover kit it can easily be adjusted for more comfort or to an alternative setup for a new race track. The KW 3-Way Clubsport benefits from the same motorsports technology that has proven its endurance with multiple overall wins at the ADAC Zurich 24h Nürburgring race.
Features
Customized Suspension Lowering
KW coilover suspensions, KW coilover springs, and KW DLC AirSuspensions allow the suspension to be steplessly lowered within the framework of the certified technical component report.
+/- Rebound
The rebound stage damping is precisely tuned to the respective vehicle on our in-house drive dynamics test facility, with the setting fixed in the mid range.
Composite Spring Seat
The KW coilover spring seat is made from a wear resistant and friction-optimized polyamide composite material with a stainless steel insert.
Trapezoidal Thread
In comparison to common coilovers, KW uses a friction -optimized and dirt insensitive trapezoidal thread.
Reservoir
The use of KW reservoirs provides additional volume for additional oil and additional cooling capacity for particularly high-stressed systems.
KW 7-post Driving Dynamics Test
Testing Like in Formula 1
Used regularly by automobile manufacturers and international racing teams, KW’s in-house 7-post drive dynamics test facility optimally tunes the KW coilover suspensions according to the design and target group.
Uniball Top Mount
Depending on the vehicle application, the aluminum uniball top mounts feature scaled camber adjustment and caster can be optionally adjusted.
TVR-A Rebound Stage
(Twin Valve Rebound - Adjustable)
The two-step, patented TVR-A technology enables the small volume to flow through an adjustable, conical low-speed bypass in the case of slow damper speeds, while in the case of higher piston speeds, the main rebound stage valve opens for the large volume flows.
TVCLHH-A Compression Stage
(Twin Valve Compression Low Highspeed-Adjustable)
High-end motor sports technology for the most demanding street performance and track performance customers. Two separate valves and a 2-way adjustable compression stage valve enable separate compression damping changes for low and high-speed.
