As a supporting suspension manufacturer to numerous international racing series, KW has claimed 7 ADAC Zurich 24-hour victories over the years at the famous Nürburgring circuit, and the ADAC GT Masters 2011 Championship. At the start of the 2018 24 Hour race 75 race teams were equipped with KW coilover systems resulting in 16 class victories. These race teams rely on KW's racing expertise and experience for their vehicle setup. This same championship winning pedigree is mirrored in the development of each one of the KW Clubsport coilover systems.
KW Clubsport 2-Way
The rebound adjuster knob provides 16 precise clicks to personally dial in your desired vehicle setup. Thus allowing you the possibility to influence wheel/tire loads or take into concern chassis characteristics. Independent from rebound adjustment is the compression dampening, 12 precise adjustment clicks are provided to adjust the low-speed damping.
Features
Customized Suspension Lowering
KW coilover suspensions, KW coilover springs, and KW DLC AirSuspensions allow the suspension to be steplessly lowered within the framework of the certified technical component report.
+/- Rebound
The rebound stage damping is precisely tuned to the respective vehicle on our in-house drive dynamics test facility, with the setting fixed in the mid range.
Bump Compression (Low)
Two-Step Compression Stage Valve with Low-Speed
The patented compression stage valve with TVC-A technology features two separate spring pre-tensioned valves for small and large volume flow.
Composite Spring Seat
The KW coilover spring seat is made from a wear resistant and friction-optimized polyamide composite material with a stainless steel insert.
Trapezoidal Thread
In comparison to common coilovers, KW uses a friction -optimized and dirt insensitive trapezoidal thread.
Reservoir
The use of KW reservoirs provides additional volume for additional oil and additional cooling capacity for particularly high-stressed systems.
KW 7-post Driving Dynamics Test
Testing Like in Formula 1
Used regularly by automobile manufacturers and international racing teams, KW’s in-house 7-post drive dynamics test facility optimally tunes the KW coilover suspensions according to the design and target group.
Uniball Top Mount
Depending on the vehicle application, the aluminum uniball top mounts feature scaled camber adjustment and caster can be optionally adjusted.
TVR-A Rebound Stage
(Twin Valve Rebound - Adjustable)
The two-step, patented TVR-A technology enables the small volume to flow through an adjustable, conical low-speed bypass in the case of slow damper speeds, while in the case of higher piston speeds, the main rebound stage valve opens for the large volume flows.
TVC-A Compression Stage
(Twin Valve Compression Adjustable)
The patented compression stage valve with TVC-A technology features two separate spring pre-tensioned valves for low and high volume flows
